We’re thrilled to announce THE ORCHARD, a free, all-ages community art project led by Cincinnati-based artist Holly Yarab and presented by the Wyoming Fine Arts Center.
The Orchard grows from a series of hands-on workshops guided by Holly’s practice, where neighbors gather to talk about care, connection, and what it means to belong, and then turn those conversations into shared works of art. Each neighborhood creates a small sculptural “tree,” built together using simple materials and objects that represent lived experience. Each tree stands on its own; together, they form a collective Orchard shaped by many voices and many hands.
The completed Orchard will debut with a free public opening reception on Sunday, May 3, from 1:00–3:00 pm at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center. After the opening, the exhibition will spend the summer traveling to Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library branches across Greater Cincinnati.
This project is supported through the GIG Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that supports Midwestern organizations in bringing professional artists into their communities through creative, accessible public arts experiences.
