How it works…

  • Private music lessons are billed on a flat monthly tuition basis. Tuition reserves your weekly lesson time and instructor commitment, not individual lessons.

  • Upon initial enrollment in private lessons, students commit to a minimum of three consecutive months of tuition.

Learning an instrument is a gradual process, and it takes time to build foundational skills, develop comfort, and to see progress.

During the first few lessons, students are often adjusting to something entirely new like reading music, developing coordination, and understanding technique. By giving them a full three months, it allows for time for those initial challenges to turn into confidence, enjoyment, and a clearer sense of understanding if they like the instrument.

“Why do we require 3 months initially?”

  • Just want to try it out? Trial lessons are free* and are subject to instructor availability and are limited to one trial per student per instrument.

  • Lessons are weekly and are offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions depending on the student’s skill level and goals.

  • After the initial three-month commitment has been fulfilled, lessons may be canceled with 30 days’ written notice in accordance with the Withdrawal Policy.

  • Music lessons take place at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center, in the walkable heart of Wyoming, conveniently accessible from I-75 and the Ronald Reagan Highway and serving the greater Cincinnati area including Glendale, Lockland, Blue Ash, Amberley Village, Finneytown, Pleasant Ridge, and more!

Music Lessons for Adults

Scholarship Opportunities for Music Lessons

Paul and Jan Bartel, our founders, knew the impact that the arts can have on a child's life and wanted to expand access to those experiences to more children. If you are passionate about the arts, but the cost is keeping you from pursuing private lessons, we encourage you to apply. Scholarship applications open in the spring.

Our scholarship program depends on donations from individuals like yourself. Consider making a donation and a difference in a young musician’s life.
