✒️ Mindful Reverse Coloring - Kids Art Workshop (November 8)

$40.00
Only 10 available

The colors are already there. What will your child discover in them?

In this playful and calm art workshop, kids start with a page of color and add their own lines, doodles, shapes, and patterns to turn it into something completely their own. That’s reverse coloring: instead of coloring inside the lines, you get to invent them!

Instructor Amy Owens will introduce simple drawing techniques and patterns, then help kids follow their imaginations. They can create intricate designs, discover unexpected shapes, or see where their doodles take them.

It’s a chance to slow down, explore, and enjoy making art without worrying about getting it “right.” No drawing experience needed, and all supplies are included.

  • Dates: Sunday, November 8

    Registration Deadline: Nov 4th 8:00a

  • Time: 1:30p to 3:00p

  • Ages: 5 - 12 (Must be 5 as of 8/15/26)

  • Instructor: Amy Owens

  • Location: Wyoming Fine Arts Center

All materials and supplies are included in the program cost.

Give your child an afternoon to unplug, doodle, and discover. Register today!

Meet Your Instructor: Amy Owens

Amy Owens has enjoyed beautiful letters since she was very young, learning several scripts as early as grade school. She earned an architecture degree from Ball State University and worked in that field before opening and operating a design studio for wedding/event stationery for several years.

While constantly pursuing personal growth in the lettering arts, she became a member and board member of the International Association for Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) and a certified instructor of the American Cursive Handwriting System by Master Penman Michael Sull. She currently teaches lettering, calligraphy, architecture, and interior design to students at Leaves of Learning in Cincinnati, in addition to teaching adults around town and online. She also does in-person calligraphy events for luxury brands in Cincinnati and beyond.

You can find her at local meetings of the Greater Cincinnati Calligrapher’s Guild, at her home studio creating beautiful works of lettering art, and online at amo-ink.com.
