Private Music Lessons in Cincinnati
Learn to play the music you love, with a teacher who loves it too.
Weekly one-on-one lessons for kids 5 and up and adults, in the walkable heart of Wyoming, just off I-75 in Cincinnati.
Music makes life better.
Most adults who don’t play an instrument wish they did. In one Gallup survey, 85% said so.At the Center, more than 100 students take private lessons each week with our faculty of 19 teachers. The youngest are five. The oldest are in their 80s. Some have studied here for more than ten years.
Each week, every student sits down one-on-one with a teacher who knows music deeply and builds lessons around them. Some come purely for fun. Some are preparing for an audition, a competition or a college program. Some perform at our three recitals each year. Others keep their music for themselves.
You’ll make music from your very first lesson.
“We’ve loved watching our child grow in confidence and as a musician with their guitar teacher. We’d recommend WFAC to anyone looking for a great place to study music.”
— Parent of a guitar student
Cora Kramer and her teacher, Yuko Tsujimoto. Cora studied violin at the Center for eight years and graduated Spring 2026.

Scholarship Opportunities for Music Lessons
Paul and Jan Bartel, our founders, knew the impact that the arts can have on a child's life and wanted to expand access to those experiences to more children. If you are passionate about the arts, but the cost is keeping you from pursuing private lessons, we encourage you to apply. Scholarship applications open in the spring.
