Celebrate Halloween with a creative, hands-on afternoon. Families are invited to make spooky masks together using materials and techniques designed to work well across ages and experience levels.

Participants can use paper and foam to create their masks, or learn how to use masking tape and/or tinfoil to craft three-dimensional shapes. Instruction is flexible and supportive, so everyone can participate comfortably and leave with something they’re proud of.

Meet Your Instructor: Lindsey Jones

Lindsey Jones is currently the Costume Shop Manager for the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and she teaches community sewing classes at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She has worked in theatre, ballet, and opera doing costume design and wardrobe. Her partner and herself have been patrons of the arts and spend much of their time enjoying all the different programs Cincinnati has to offer, such as: Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, May Festival Chorus, Playhouse in the Park, and many more. During Lindsey’s free time she enjoys reading, painting, hiking, and embroidery. She is also an avid D&D player and loves spending time with her cats.
