Lane Landis is an art instructor and practicing artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her work spans ink, watercolor, colored pencil, and marker, and her foundation in gestural drawing shapes everything she teaches. Her personal work explores nostalgia and restlessness, grounded in the belief that peace can be found in making anything at all. She has a particular gift for mentoring children and helping young artists loosen up and trust their own eye. As a teacher, Lane centers her classes on process over perfection, with bold marks first, confidence second, and polish last.
