It’s back! This beloved workshop has returned for it’s 3rd year for our community to enjoy. Join us for an immersive workshop exploring the traditional Ukrainian art of Pysanky: intricately decorated eggs that symbolize new life and the arrival of spring.

All proceeds goes directly to supporting first responders and frontline medics in Ukraine. By participating in this class students will help raise funds for Oranta to order medical equipment urgently needed on the front lines that plays a vital role in stopping bleeding, stabilizing injuries, preventing infection, and protecting life in the most challenging environments.   • Dates: Sunday, March 29th

  • Time: 2-4p

  • Ages: 12+

    • This workshop is suitable for individuals aged 12 and above. No prior experience is necessary. Light refreshments will be provided.

  • Notice: Space is limited to ensure personalized instruction. All necessary materials provided.

  • Location: Wyoming Fine Arts Center

This ancient practice involves applying melted beeswax and multiple layers of dye to raw eggs, resulting in beautifully detailed designs rich with cultural significance.

About Oranta:
Oranta (Оранта) is a nonprofit organization based in Cincinnati, dedicated to uniting and empowering the Ukrainian community while fostering cultural exchange and humanitarian support. We preserve and promote Ukrainian heritage, advocate for Ukraine, and provide mutual aid to those affected by the war both abroad and at home.

Oranta has applied for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and our application is currently pending with the Internal Revenue Service.  If our application is approved, tax-exempt status will be retroactive to the date of incorporation, and contributions made during this period will be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.  Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisors regarding the deductibility of their contribution.
