Painting 101 (6-Week Course)
Medium: Acrylic (can be adapted)
Project: One complete still life painting
Class Length: 2 hours per session
Goal: Students will be guided through a step-by-step process of creating a still life painting.

WEEK 1: Materials, Observation & Setup: Seeing Like an Artist
WEEK 2: Composition & Drawing on Canvas: Planning the Painting
WEEK 3: Color Mixing & Blocking In: Building Color Foundations
WEEK 4: Value, Depth & Layering: Creating Form and Realism
WEEK 5: Detail & Texture: Bringing it to Life
WEEK 6: Finishing Touches & Sharing: Final Edits & Celebration
