Vera Wei-Jung Hsu, a Taiwanese violinist, is recognized for her artistry as both a performer and educator. She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. An active orchestral and chamber musician, she has performed with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, in addition to presenting solo and ensemble performances throughout her career.
With more than a decade of teaching experience, Ms. Hsu is committed to cultivating musical excellence in her students while fostering creativity and personal growth. She is a registered member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and has completed training in multiple levels of the Suzuki Method. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes the development of a strong technical foundation, careful attention to musical expression, and the nurturing of a lifelong appreciation for music.
In addition to her primary focus on violin, Ms. Hsu also teaches piano, drawing on her comprehensive musicianship to guide students in their artistic and technical development. She is dedicated to inspiring students of all ages to pursue music with confidence, discipline, and joy.
