Fall Open House – 8/27 at 5:30 pm

2013 MT - Cast Crop-600

Have you ever wondered what all goes behind the doors at the Center? You may remember the ‘Inside Out’ project (a part of the global Inside Out Project lead by a renowned guerrilla artist JR), when our Faces of Creativity were displayed on the lawn (see photos here) during the Community Arts Center day? This was just a small part of what we do. Have you recently visited our Facebook page and looked at all the photos of all our creative students living with their art? We invite you to – it’s AMAZING!

A lesser known fact is that the Center sees over 1,000 people every week through programs ranging from Private Lessons in various instruments and voice, to Musik Kids, Art, Dance and Musical Theater, to Contra Dancing, Vintage Dancing and the oldest surviving all-volunteer orchestra in the nation: the Cincinnati Civic Orchestra. For the past three years, we also provided an after school curriculum-integrated music, art and dance programming to the Hartwell Elementary students. When looking for quality programming which builds and brings the community together, one does not need to look far!

So, come on down and meet all the incredible people making all of this possible. Open House is on Tuesday, 8/27 from 5:30-7:30 pm. We’ll serve punch and cookies and would love to see you.

Summer Camps at the Center

Did you know our summer camps have been running every summer since 1995? Our programs have attracted a multitude of students over the years, interested in music, art or dance. The addition of Rock N’ Roll and e-media to the Center has moved us into the 21st century – meeting the student where he or she wants to be. We are also pleased to be offering some exciting art camps for kids – from Digital Photography to Super Sculptor, and everything in between. Click on our summer camps link and give it a surf!

As always, welcome to the Wyoming Fine Arts Center, where you can let your creativity soar!
