Curious about music lessons but not sure where to start — or which instrument to try first? Our Find Your Instrument program makes it easy (and fun!) to explore. For just $10, you’ll come to a short, hands-on session with one of our WFAC instructors. You’ll learn a few basics about how the instrument works, try it out yourself, ask questions, and get to know the teacher. It’s a simple, low-stakes way to see what lessons feel like and discover whether an instrument really clicks for you before you enroll in our private music lessons program.

Meet our instructor Preston Charles III. Preston is a violinist that has had the best of both worlds — a standard private education in classical music and Suzuki as well as contemporary forms of music performance, including jazz, rock, funk, hip-hop, and pop. He’s an active performer in Cincinnati; you may have seen Preston perform on The Center’s lawn during one of Wyoming many community events or during The Center’s Showcases.
