 Colors and Corks Parties
November/December 2013 Edition
Leaves are finally falling, evenings are cold, daylight savings time gave us an extra hour of life, the election day is behind us – yep… Fall has arrived…
So, what kind of fun are you planning for this November? Why not have it at the Center?! Involve some wine, and – voila (not viola, although it could be) – you have a recipe for good times! Our Colors and Corks attendees can attest to this fact – just check out our Facebook page for some fun times now eternalized in Facebook cyberspace. No experience required! All supplies are included.

Sunday, Nov 24 @ 10 am Hot Coffee (coffee by provided by Gabby’s)  – If the evening isn’t your thing, perhaps consider joining us for a warm morning of steamy coffee in one hand and a paintbrush in the other.

Tuesday, Nov 26 @ 6:30 pm – Winter Cabin – Get ready for the cold and paint this landscape featuring a snowy scene with an inviting little cabin all in our toasty studio.  Move over Bob Ross.

Hot Chocolate Bonanza
Colors and Cupcakes Painting Party for Kids
In addition to painting a fun cup of cocoa on canvas, there will be a Hot Chocolate buffet with everything from chocolate shavings to whip cream to crunchy candy and of course cupcakes too! Family members of all ages are welcome. ages 6+
Party will be working on the following painting project:

Holiday Gift Wrap Fete
Sunday, December 15, 3-5 pm
Creatively wrap your gifts with everything from shrink dink labels to stamps and mustaches. You will have the most beautiful gifts under the tree. Instruction and help with varied techniques are part of the wrap. Bring the unwrapped gifts you want wrapped (due to time limitation, no more than 10 please), and you will take home packages that your family and friends won’t be able to wait to get their hands on! Treats provided.
Ages 7 and up. $25/person. Free care between events if you attend the morning American Girls Celebrate the Holidays.
Parents, this is a great time to wrap up your Holiday tasks while we watch your child.

Wyoming Fine Arts Center
Founded in 1995, the Wyoming Fine Arts Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 Community Arts Center with the mission to foster appreciation and skills in the arts for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Open to all interested persons in the greater Cincinnati region, the mission of the Center is carried through comprehensive programs offered in Music, Visual Arts and Dance, including: Private Music Lesson, Musik Kids, Suzuki Violin, Suzuki Piano, curriculum-based art programming and level-appropriate dance classes. The Center is supported in part by the generosity of community contributions to the ArtsWave Campaign, and by a scholarship grant from the Junior Woman’s Club of Wyoming.
