Macy's Sampler presented by ArtsWave

Saturday, March 7
10 am to 5:30 pm

The 2015 Macy’s Arts Sampler Weekend event at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center, presented by ArtsWave, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015. All events are free and open to the public through the sponsorship of Macy’s. Public is invited to celebrate the arts by participating in these free events.

Program:

10:00-11:00
Family Music Time with Musik Kids and Miss Mary (ages 0-4)
Children and parents dance, sing and move to music.

11:00-12:00
Hip Hop with Steve Irwin (children to adults)
Learn some dance moves and groove with us!

12:00-2:00
Art – Open Studio (children to adults) (ages 6+)
Come and do some art projects!

2:00-3:00
Flying Cloud Academy of Vintage Dance (ages 5+)
Watch the gems of dances past performed by this unique Cincinnati group. Then, join in for a final dance!

3:30-5:00
Cincinnati Civic Orchestra Open Rehearsal (ages 7+)
See the oldest all-volunteer orchestra in the nation rehearse while sitting in the orchestra!

A full schedule of weekend activities taking place throughout the city is available on the ArtsWave website, www.theartswave.org, and through the free Macy’s Arts Sampler app, available for iOS and Android platforms. Printed schedules may be picked up at participating Sampler venues, Macy’s stores, and at public libraries in Hamilton and Campbell County.

Wyoming Fine Arts Center is supported by individuals and organizations throughout the area, who recognize that their donations to ArtsWave help create a livelier community and a place where people from different backgrounds come together to share ideas and experiences.
