Dance Classes Schedule, Pricing and Guidelines

In 2015-16, all classes meet once per week. Dance Classes can be joined at any time prior to February 2016, and the tuition will be prorated accordingly. Joining Ballet the Spring Term will be at teacher’s discretion as we are preparing for the recital. Hip Hop and Dance to the Beat can be joined at any time.

Apples to apples: per class cost is only $14.20/hour (thus 45 minute Pre-Ballet class is 10.65/class)!

2015-16 Dance Class Schedule




4:00-4:45 pm   Pre-Ballet (4-5 years old, mature 3 year-olds with teacher approval)

4:30-5:30 pm   Ballet 1 (6-7 years old)

5:30-6:45 pm   Ballet 2  (8-9 years old)

6:45-8:00 pm   Ballet 3 (10 years and up)




6:00-7:00 pm      Hip Hop with Steve Irwin





10:00 – 11:00am   Dance to the Beat with Heather Yee




4:00 – 5:00 pm   Beginner Jazz Dance with Heather Yee



Children’s Ballet Classes:

Girls-need to wear a leotard (preferably pink or black, but not mandatory), light pink tights, and light pink ballet slippers (could be leather or fabric, and make sure they fit properly – not big!).  No skirts. Boys– need to wear a white t-shirt, black tights, sweats or shorts, and black or white leather or fabric ballet shoes. Ballet dancers must wear pants that are form fitting so that teacher can see your knees.

Pre-teens/Teens/Adults Classes:

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move in (tank, shorts, yoga pants, etc…)

2015-16 Dance Sessions

Once signed-up, the student is expected to continue dancing for the duration of the school year. Sessions are listed below to allow natural holiday breaks. Students will be automatically invoiced at the beginning of Spring Session. Please see below.

– Classes start 9/7/2015.

Term 1 is 9/7/2015 to 1/19/2016. (18 weeks)

Term 2 is 1/26/2016 to 5/27/2016 (17 weeks) ^

^Recital is planned for 5/28-29 2016 weekend. Dress rehearsal will occur on the last week of classes.

^ Recital Fee: Fee is $100 for all students participating in the Spring Recital. This fee will include a costume which each dancer gets to keep, unlimited tickets to the recital and professionally produced recital DVD.

Weeks off are:

12/21/15 – 1/3/16 – Winter Break

3/28/15 – 4/4/16 – Spring Break

Monday Holidays off:

9/1 Labor Day – make-up class on regular time on Monday 11/24

Extra Rehearsals for Recital:

Will be announced as soon as it is coordinated with Ballet Tech. There is no extra charge for extra rehearsals. Recital fee covers this cost.


Dance Tuition:

Class Costs (payable in 2 terms, class is a yearly commitment):

45 minute class: $10.65 per class – 191.70 for Fall term.

60 minute class: $13.80 per class – 255.60 for Fall term.

75 minute class: $17.75 per class  – 319.80 for Fall

Registration Fee: $25

Recital Fee: $100


Adult Fitness: Class-Pass Tuition as follows:

Individual class: $13

5-Class Pass: $55 ($11 per class)

10-Class Pass: $100 ($10 per class)

16-Class Pass: $144 ($9 per class)

SIBLING DISCOUNT: If you are registering 2nd or 3rd child for a dance class, you will receive a 10% discount. No discounts on Fitness Class Passes.

YEARLY REGISTRATION FEE: Each student is assessed $25 yearly registration fee (except for Fitness Class). Second sibling taking class or lessons at the Center is assessed $12.50 registration fee. Third and any other subsequent family member (sibling or parent) does not pay registration fee.

Want to loosen up? Join us for an Alexander Technique Workshop with Shellie Cash, ATI certified instructor! For musicians and performance artists alike! Reduce pain, tension, gain freedom and ease of movement, and gain outcomes that reflect mindfulness and intentionality.

When: Sunday, May 21, 9 am – 5 pm (or 1/2 session in the AM 9-12:15 or PM 1:15 – 5)

Where: Wyoming Fine Arts Center Ballroom, 322 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, OH 45215

Who: Singers, Musicians, Artists, Dancers, anyone who wants to improve body movement. **Ages 15 – 70.

Cost: $60 for the day | $40 half-day

$13.50 additional for lunch provided by Gabby’s Cafe.
